Delhi Schools Nursery Admissions 2013-14 Session - KG Admissions
Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Delhi - Nursery, KG, Playschool Admissions
Dear All
There seems to be a lot of confusion with some schools saying that the minimum age criteria for Nursery is 4 years and some schools saying 3 years, in Gurgaon.
So, what is the minimum age criteria to get admissions into Nursery? My daughter's DOB is 28th March 2010 so by next year 31st March 2013, she will be 3 years old and hence will she be eligible to get into Nursery?
I googled and read some articles where Delhi High Court has said that the min age is now 3 but schools like Manav Rachna etc are saying 4... hence the confusion...
Please reply.
Also, how is the Maurya School in Palam Vihar, Gurgaon, any feedback? We are putting our daughter in their play school in the coming month and want to check, if we should continue with that school in future or change during Nursery admissions?
Regards
Aditya

We understand your confusion.
While schools in Delhi have a standard entry age of 3+ as on 31st March 2013 for the upcoming session, nursery schools in Gurgaon are not bound by this rule.
Hence, you would find every school having their own modifications to the entry age.
If you decide to go with nursery admissions in Delhi then you would be able to apply in most of the schools.
All the best.

Permalink Reply by Pooja Sachdev on September 25, 2012 at 9:26am Hi Aditya,
In some of the schools in Gurgaon they have two KG's like LKG and UKG so they are admitting at the age of 3, in some they have play group instead of two KG's, here also the age criteria is 3 years and those who don't have play group and have only one KG there age criteria is 4 years. With reagard to Maurya the school is good but is over flooded with kids.
Regards,
Pooja
